David Adams, CEO
David Adams is the Chief Executive Officer of the Michigan Credit Union League and CU Solutions Group. The MCUL is headquartered in Lansing, Michigan and has affiliate company offices in Livonia, MI.
Mr. Adams joined the Michigan Credit Union League in August of 1997. Prior to accepting the position with Michigan, David was president and CEO of the Washington Credit Union League and LSI, Inc. for six years. He also served on the staff of the Utah Credit Union League for eight years, the last three as President/CEO.
During his 31-year credit union career Adams has held numerous board seats with companies like Magic Line, Inc. and NYCE Corporation, both regional ATM companies, and has served on both former Governor Jennifer Granholm’s Council of Economic Advisors, as well as current Governor Rick Snyder's Council of Labor and Economic Growth.
Drew Egan joined MCUL & Affiliates on January 4, 1998. He currently serves as President/COO of CU Solutions Group, a credit union CUSO which serves 3,600 credit unions and their 80 million members in 48 states. Drew also serves on the executive management team of the Michigan Credit Union League and Affiliates. CU Solutions Group’s headquarters is located in Livonia, Michigan.
Prior to coming to Michigan he served as Executive Vice President/COO of the Utah League of Credit Unions where he had operational responsibility for the League and Service Corporation serving in this capacity for six years. In addition to his responsibilities as COO, Drew served as President/CEO of ACCESS 24, Utah's credit union ATM network. Drew holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Finance from the University of Utah.
Drew has been married for 34 years to his wife Carolyn. They have six children and seven grandchildren. Drew's volunteer activities have included serving in various capacities with Boys and Girls Clubs, the Boy Scouts of America, Jr. Achievement Business for Youth, Habitat for Humanity and Michigan Special Olympics. Other interests include flying (private pilot), motorcycling, music, sports, reading, family activities and most of all boating.
Ken has extensive experience working in the political and regulatory arenas at the state and national level with an emphasis on the financial service sector.
After graduating from the U of M-Dearborn, double-majoring in Philosophy and Political Science, Ken ran his first successful state house campaign and began working as Chief of Staff for a State House member, working on insurance, banking, local government and election law. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School at night and earned his law degree, cum laude, then taking a job as an Assistant Attorney General working as a litigator in the Tort Defense Division.
In 2000, Ken was hired by the Michigan Credit Union League as the Regulatory Affairs Director and spent three years working on re-codifying the Michigan Credit Union Act, which remains one of the most progressive state credit union acts in the nation. In 2003 he was named Chief of Staff to the Commissioner of the Office of Financial Regulation, and in 2008 he was appointed Commissioner, serving as the Chief Financial Regulator for Michigan, leading the agency of over 350 staff and a budget of over $50 million during the financial turmoil that upended economies around the globe.
Ken served as Assistant General Counsel for Citizens bank from 2011-2013, leading their Consumer Compliance and CRA team along with helping negotiate and operationalize a DOJ fair lending settlement agreement, which he administered for the bank. In 2013 he returned to the Michigan Credit Union League as EVP/COO, responsible for the trade association operations, including Government Affairs, Education and Communications
Aaron Adams is Senior Vice President of the Performance Solutions division of CU Solutions Group. Prior to this position, Aaron most recently served as a management consultant at CU Solutions Group where he worked with senior management teams and their boards of directors to develop strategic plans that would best fit their organization. The strategic planning process included a focus on helping organizations maximize the value delivered by their most important asset: their people.
Aaron has nearly ten years of total experience in the credit union industry and has served in a wide variety of positions. In addition to his experience in the credit union industry, Aaron has worked for the Detroit office of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served on the audit teams of Domino's Pizza, Ford Motor Company, and CMS Energy.
Aaron has earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, holds a B.S. in Accountancy, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tim Bohlman, SVP, Technology & Marketing Solutions
Tim Bohlman is senior vice president of Technology and Marketing Solutions for CU Solutions Group, where he oversees all web development and implements new software and Internet technologies including the MCUL/CU Solutions Group Intranet and websites as well as numerous credit union websites.
Prior to joining CU Solutions Group, he worked for the Oakland University Mathematics Department performing research and programming dynamic systems. Tim received his bachelor's degree in mathematics and history from Oakland University in 1995.
Tim also sits on the board for FocusIQ, a joint venture with Duffey Petrosky, which was created to deliver more robust marketing solutions to credit unions across the country.
He resides in Livonia with his wife, Laura and their three children.
Lisa Rizk, SVP, Membership Enhancements & National Sales
Lisa Rizk is senior vice president of Membership Enhancements and National Sales, where she manages all sales and marketing activities for various divisions, partners and products. Lisa also works closely with CU Solutions Group’s business partners to ensure the brand is upheld in the marketplace on a local, regional and national level.
Previously, as Director of Sales & Marketing for CUcorp and CU Village.com, Lisa worked with credit unions and leagues nationally on researching, consulting, implementing and marketing e-business and other technology-related products and services.
She has earned her MBA from Davenport University in 2006 with a specialty in marketing, and holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Central Michigan University.
Lisa is a member of the American Management Association, the Marketing and Sales Executives of Detroit and the American Marketing Association.
Steve Willis, SVP, Lending & Operations & Michigan Solutions
Steve Willis is Senior Vice President of Lending & Operations and Michigan Solutions, where he manages Credit Union Relations, Sales, Compliance, Consulting, Lending & Insurance and Lending & Operations.
Steve oversees Lending & Operations where his team works with credit unions to help them say yes to more loans. Steve is also responsible for Michigan Solutions where his team works to help credit unions serve, grow and remain strong.
Previously, Steve was the VP of Michigan Solutions in which he worked with the League Representatives on Michigan Credit Union League initiatives and CU Solutions Group to offer products and services to credit unions.
Steve has 6 years of experience in the credit union industry and has been in the financial industry for over 25 years.
